As
you have just understood my name is Salvatore Ravidą.
I was born in 1982, and i
lived in Letojanni (5 km near Taormina, Sicily, Italy)
until the end of 2000.
My love for Personal
Computer started in 1995, with my first 486 DX 100.
Now I live in Catania, a
nice city in the south of Italy (Sicily), where i'm
studying Informatic Engineering (5° Year)
It's not difficult to
imagine that my favourite hobby is programming and here

Finding the right Disc is much easier, because
you can order by Disc Lenght.
Note:
you must have kylixlibs installed. (kylixlibs.sourceforge.net)
then edit fen.sh with your location of kylixlibs
Font Verdana required.
PS: this is the first attempt to compile FEN under Linux! do not
aspect much ...

Characteristics:

+ Local FreeDB Search
+ Local Search Engine written in Assembler
less then 3 seconds to search 1,6 million records!
(after first time and with Index in Memory, on AthlonXp 2400+
512MB ram)
+ Finding the right Disc is much easier, because you can order
by Disc Lenght
+ Search by Disc ID
+ Export To : XMCD, CUE, TXT
+ Export All Results with a click

so the first time you must create it.
Freedb Menu -> Create Local Freedb FEN Index
Index is about 74 MB (tested on 01/2005 Freedb). |
